Hints for: Spelling Bee

Hints

Canned Hint #1

In Spelling Bee, you have to find answers using some of the letters around a center yellow hexagon, and those answers must include the letter in the center yellow hexagon.

Canned Hint #2

The answers to the numbered clues correspond to the numbered yellow hexagons. You can use the answer submission box to double check if the answers to the clues you found are correct.

Canned Hint #3

The hexagons can be divided into 6 overlapping Spelling Bee boards, each of which contains six gray hexagons surrounding a central yellow hexagon. To extract the final answer, read the yellow hexagon letters in the order indicated by their number.

Canned Hint #4

Each answer contains three missing letters not present in the gray hexagons around it, one for the central letter and one for each adjacent yellow hexagon. The overlap in missing letters between adjacent answers tells you which yellow hexagon letters they share.

Canned Hint #5

The image of a bee in the center literally represents the letter string BEE. For example, the answer to "Can't complain" is (BEE)N WORSE. The missing letters for this answer are W, R, and S, which they must go into the hexagons numbered 1, 2, and 4 in some order.

Canned Hint #6

Since the answer to clue three, SESAME BEEF, also contains a missing S, the S must be shared between SESAME BEEF and BEEN WORSE, so it must go into the hexagon numbered 1.
